Requiem

Branco de Branco
Em Azul Lilás
da Paz que não há
Da Paz que não querem
Branco em Lilás
de Luto
que nutro
por aqueles
muitos
que oxalá
estejam em Paz.
~~~~~~~~~
White of a White colour
on Lilac Blue
of Peace that doesn't exist
of Peace not wanted.
White on Lilac
of the mourning
I am in
for those
many
who
hopefully
can be in Peace
O sino
O sino toca
na torre de pedra
que treme e geme
com o estertor
do sino que toca
ali dentro.
~~~~~~~
The bell tolls
in the stone tower
which trembles and whines
with the loud noise
caused by
the bell which tolls
in there.

Palavras desconexas com algum sentido

Imersa nas brumas do Universo,
velejo na Fantasia
seguindo a rota da Imaginação
a caminho do Não-Eu.

Immersed in the Universe haze,
I sail on the Fantasy vessel
following the Imagination route
towards my Non-Self.

Hoje .. num estilo que quis diferente

Amo-te no intenso tráfego
Com toda a poluição no sangue.
Exponho-te a vontade
Molda-me a partir do céu da tua boca
Porque pressinto que posso ouvir-te
No firmamento.

I love you in the heavy traffic
With all the pollution in my blood.
I lay bare my desire
The place that breathes only in your mouth
O word that I love like the speech
Of my mother, of my friend, of the poem
I have in mind.
With my head full of ideas I visit the silence
Of your lips.
Mould me with the vault of your mouth
For I suspect that I can hear you
In the firmament.

Fernando Pessoa, ele próprio, poetando com humor ...

Não tenho ninguém que me ame.
’Spera lá, tenho; mas é
Difícil ter-se a certeza
Daquilo em que não se crê.

Não é não crer por descrença,
Porque sei: gostam de mim.
É um não crer por feitio
E teimar em ser assim.

Não tenho ninguém que me ame.
Para este poema existir
Tenho por força que ter
Esta mágoa que sentir.

Que pena não ser amado!
Meu perdido coração!
Etcetera, e está acabado
O meu poema pensado.
Sentir é outra questão…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There’s no one who loves me.
Hold on, yes there is;
But it’s hard to feel certain
About what you don’t believe in.
It isn’t out of disbelief
That I don’t believe, for I know
I’m well liked. It’s my nature
Not to believe, and not to change.
There’s no one who loves me.
For this poem to exist
I have no choice
But to suffer this grief.
How sad not to be loved!
My poor, forlorn heart!
Et cetera, and that’s the end
Of this poem I thought up.
What I feel is another matter...
A pensar ...
Exacto... Eu a pensar...
Se a Maomé não pode ir à montanha, porque não tentar fazer a montanha vir a Maomé???
Quando há alguém que merece uma atitude que o favoreça, porque não ser maleável, ter bom senso e solucionar o que parece não poder ser solucionado mesmo que se abra uma excepção à regra?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Exactly ... It's me thinking ...
If Mohammed can't go to the mountain, why not try to bring the mountain to Mohammed???
When somebody deserves an attitude that will favour him, why not be tolerant and wise enough to try to solve what seems to have no apparent solution even if you're making an exception to some rule previously set?

Definições... ...

Há definições e... .. definições!
Hoje aprendi que este monumento era ... sic...
"um chafariz com uma bola ao lado"!
Realmente a arte contemporânea é assim:
Plena de conotações!

There are definitions and ... ... definitions!
Today I learned that this monument is ... sic ...
"a fountain with a ball by its side"!

Full of connotations!

Onde fui buscar isto?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At times
At times I have happy ideas,
Ideas suddenly happy, in among ideas
And the words in which they naturally shake free ...
After writing, I read ...
What made me write that?
Where have I been to find that?
Where did that come to me from? It is better than
me ...
Shall we have been, in the world, at the most, pen
and ink
With which somebody writes properly what we here
jot?...
(18.12.1934)
Medos
Todos temos as nossas fragilidades
Todos temos os nossos medos
Todos esses medos vêm das nossas fragilidades
Medos
Auto-impostos
Socialmente impostos
Medos que roem, que enlouquecem, que destroem.
~~~~~~~~~~
We all have our weaknesses
We all have our fears
All those fears come from our weaknesses
Fears
Self imposed
Socially imposed
Fears that bite, drive you crazy, destroy you

"Post" egocêntrico ... (LOL)

Hoje,
bem concentrada no meu "umbigo",

Today,
well centered on my "belly-button",
I came to this interesting conclusion about myself!

[To those who only speak a bit of English, this is a pedagogical post! To those who can, they will surely reach a brilliant conclusion about my own self! ;)]

Determination is a quality but it can also be a bad thing.
I know a determined young girl who's been teaching
an accommodated and lazy adult like me.
I call her Miss Sol and I' m very sure she'll be a famous violinist some day in a near future.
And youngsters are said to be good for nothing!

Girassol

Observa o horizonte
e
sente-se fortemente motivado para
enfrentar o presente,
a relembrar o passado
e
sonhar o futuro que não sabe.
~~~~~~~~~~
The sunflower is proudly facing the adversity of having a te flowerpot as vital space.
The sunflower is looking at the far skyline.
The sunflower is observing it
and
is feeling motivated
to face the present,
to recollect the past
and
dream of an ignored future.
Segredo denunciado
Hoje fiquei a par de um "segredo"que me chegou com felicitações pela data de amanhã.
Pertence a Antoine de Saint-Exupery
e é o seguinte:
"Vou dizer-te o meu segredo.
É muito simples:
só se vê bem com o coração.
O essencial é invisível para os olhos"
Eu acho que sim!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today I came upon a "secret" that reached me with congratulations for tomorrow's date.
It belongs to Antoine de Saint-Exupery and says the following:
"I'll tell you my secret.
It's very simple:
we can only see well with the heart.
What is essential is invisible to the eyes."

I agree!

Rumos

Rumo ao Sul

Lágrimas ácidas
Corroem faces flácidas
De caras que não são:

Risos sem siso
Olhares no vazio
Expressões repelentes
Em estranhos entes.

No céu tenebroso
Em estertor
De rapina a ave.
Voa um açor.

Ávido de sangue
Sossobra exangue
Neste mundo de horror

A sufocar, arfante,
Agonizante.

No céu tenebroso
Um fulgor.
Uma andorinha voa
Em vez do açor.

As asas Negro-azul
Em voo rumo ao sul
Deixam rasto dourado
De estrelas encadescentes
Brilhantes, ardentes.

Em golpe de magia
Mãos frementes de alegria
Tocam o pó dourado
Caído do sulco estrelado.

As lágrimas secaram
As caras ficaram olhares ,
Estrelas cadentes
Que as mãos agarraram.

E a andorinha
De asas negro-azul
Continuou a voar
Rumo ao sul

~~~~~~~~~~~
It's about a swallow heading off south.
On the way down there the spell left changed
a world of horror
into
a world of dreams.
